Getting Excited about 2018 Georgia Football with Podcasts and Viral Videos
Before you know it, Athens, Georgia will once again be abuzz with peak excitement for the beginning of the Georgia football season. The 2018 campaign to a championship begins in a couple of weeks. Elaborate tailgates, coordinated red and black attire and overflowing optimism of fans will replace the relaxed summer atmosphere that the Classic City has maintained since spring semester ended.
The summer months for us at the Watin' Since Last Saturday podcast were pretty laid back. We recorded a few shows together, uploaded some interesting interviews of knowledgeable college football media types, but mainly allowed ourselves to take a bit of a breather because we know what is before us - a lot of podcast recording - and we couldn't be more excited.
The NEW Logo for our podcast makes us very happy.
Yesterday, we uploaded our big 2018 SEC Preview podcast. Originally, we intended it to be a quick breakdown of the SEC East/West followed by a look at the other power 5 conferences. We touched on the Big 10, Big 12, Acc and Pac 12, but not as in depth as we intended. The SEC storylines are so robust that not only was there so little time to allow us to talk about anything else, but also our recent episode is one of the longest shows we've ever published.
